On medium settings with everything below SSAO disabled I'm getting a steady 50-60 FPS, dipping to 30-40 for really intense scenes (large explosions, etc.). If I stare at the sky I can get a solid 60fps, which is nice and all, but I had hoped to experience more of Panau than the meteor showers. I have tested all of them.įreezes appear to occur when audio is loaded, when lighting and fire effects come on screen. None of the settings in the Crimson game profile have a significant impact on the game visually or performance wise. I've tried toggling frame pacing, default Crossfire profile, AFR Friendly, 1x1 and even the Crossfire profile for JC2 with no change in performance. Only some small stutters in the first driving section but still not a totally smooth performance even given a limited framerate.
but I wish I could use my 2nd card to get 60. With Vsync off I can achieve a stable 50fps ish, which is great. With one card disabled, Vsync locks to around 30/45fps, it feels like that stupid adaptive Vsync crap which is super annoying but it performs much better, no flicker, textures are fine and it's almost playable. About 35fps max with massive drops every few seconds. With both cards enabled there are multiple-second freezes, massive frame drop and slowdown across the board coupled with flickering vegetation and a worldwide flickering light source on every surface. The beta's fixed the texturing issue, but the game is unplayable in crossfire.

Running latest beta Crimson drivers with everything on very high, aniso x4, FXAA. Going to put everything in here in the hopes that a dev sees it.
