I think rocksteady just went lazy, originally the characters weren't inteded to take that much of a beating because they were planned for the 15 minute story levels, still doesn't explain why they never got a rebalance once they were made avaliable for challenge mode.Īnyway it's a shame that there is no such mod, i think i'll have to do with the arkham knight skin for batman. The can't be as good as batman arguement was long lost back in origins with deathstroke because logically he should be 3x-4x as good as batman yet he was a lot weaker too gameplay wise. I get that some would argue that characters can’t be as good as Batman in this universe, but from a gameplay perspective (which is the one that really matters in a video game), it was really dumb to limit the player’s ability with certain characters. I have no idea why they didn’t do that for the other characters too. They copy and pasted Batman’s animations onto Batgirl for disarm and destroy.
